Description: FCCL gap determines the threshold for sending each credit packet. Threshold = 4096/credit size in bytes. Credit size configuration of LLU RX domain directly impacts the FCCL gap (due to credits granularity). We want to balance the ratio between the receiver's credit buffers and the sender's bandwidth, This is done with a "golden ratio" of 8B credit packets to 4096B data packets. Due to this, credit packet will be sent after roughly 4096B of sent data. |
