This chapter describes a method to synchronize the system clock to the network card's PHC.
Introduction
phc2sys is a program which synchronizes two clocks in the system. Typically, it is used to synchronize the system clock to a PTP hardware clock (PHC), which itself can be synchronized by the ptp4l program.
Installation
Installing the linuxptp package also installs phc2sys. Please refer to section Installing ptp4l from System Repositories for more information.
