OpenSM allowed_sm_guids Protection

Added the ability to prevent adding any GUID listed in OpenSM's allowed_sm_guids configuration to a partition with index0=True. This capability provides protection that could allow a non-master SM candidate to join the management partition with full membership. The protection is enforced automatically by the UFM REST API once allowed SM GUIDs are set by user.

Extending Unhealthy Ports REST API

The Unhealthy/Healthy Ports REST API now supports identifying ports by switch name, in addition to NodeGUID. It also supports flagging aggregated (XDR) ports as unhealthy or healthy, including ports in a down state For more information, refer to Unhealthy Ports REST API.

Simplified UFM–SLURM Integration

The UFM–SLURM plugin is enhanced to use a PKey-only workflow — SLURM manages PKey membership, and the UFM handles SHArP reservations automatically via auto_reservation_by_pkey. For more information, refer to UFM SLURM Integration.

UFM High-Availability

Added support for Redundant Management Network with secondary VIP for UFM High-Availability. For more information, refer to UFM High-Availability Documentation.

REST-RDMA Client Remote ibdiagnet Request Rate Limiting

Added the ability to limit the number of REST-RDMA client remote ibdiagnet requests over a specified period. For more information, refer to IBDiagnet Command-Line Rate Limiting.

Running UFM as a Non-Root User on Bare Metal

Added the ability to run UFM processes as non-root user on BareMetal installation (this option is not supported for UFM Docker deployments). For more information, refer to Running UFM as Non-Root User on Bare Metal.

XDR Router In-Service Software Upgrade

Added the ability to perform in-service SW upgrade to XDR router/s connected to several subnets. For more information, refer to XDR Router In-Service Software Upgrade.

UFM Server Health Monitoring (SMResponseTest)

Replaced the SMResponseTest with SMKeepAliveTest to ensure that the SM Process is operational. For more information, refer to UFM Server Health Monitoring.

Supported OSs
