Switch Profiles

A switch profile holds the credentials (username and password) that NVIDIA Minerva uses to access switches. The default value for both the username and the password is admin. NVIDIA strongly recommends changing these default values and creating dedicated usernames and passwords for each switch.

High-frequency telemetry (HFT) stores its switch credentials as switch profiles named hft:<switch>, so they appear in the switch profile list. Manage HFT credentials on the Credentials page or with the HFT API, not with these endpoints. See Register Switch Credentials for HFT.
