Settings is where administrators and editors configure NVIDIA Minerva. Viewers can't open it. To open Settings, in the upper-right corner, click
Change the Time Zone, Date Format, and Idle Timeout
By default, each tenant uses UTC time and the YYYY-MM-DD date format. To change a tenant's time zone or date format:
-
Platform Admin: go to Settings > Tenants, click the Edit (pencil) icon in the tenant's row, select a Date format (YYYY-MM-DD, DD-MM-YYYY, or MM-DD-YYYY) and a Timezone, and then click Save.
-
Tenant Admin: go to Settings > Tenant Config > Advanced Configuration, select a Date format and a Timezone, and then click Save.
By default, users are signed out after 15 minutes of inactivity. Platform Admins can change the idle timeout. Go to Settings > System Configuration, click the Idle Timeout value, select a duration, and then click OK. Select No to turn off the idle timeout. For a different duration, click … and enter an ISO 8601 duration, for example PT30M for 30 minutes or PT2H for two hours.
Default Views
For each page, you can set the view that loads when you open the page.
-
Go to Settings > System Configuration.
-
Click the edit (pencil) icon next to Default Views.
-
In Page, select Anomalies, Trends, Incidents, Topology, or Dashboard.
-
Under Default View, select the view to load.
-
To set another page, repeat steps 3 and 4. Then click OK.
Collect Usage Statistics
Platform Admins can collect statistics on how NVIDIA Minerva UI features are used. Collection is off by default and, when turned on, applies to all tenants and users.
To turn on collection, go to Settings > Usage Statistics and turn on the switch.
To export the statistics, under Export, select a start and end date and time, and then click Download. The end time isn't included. The file is a compressed JSON Lines file (.jsonl.gz).
Statistics are kept for 30 days by default. They do not include user names, email addresses, search text, filter values, URLs, or IP addresses. They're stored only on the NVIDIA Minerva host and are not sent to NVIDIA.
