User management lets administrators create users, assign tenant access, and control what users can do in NVIDIA Minerva.
Roles
-
Platform Admin is a global role. To grant Platform Admin access, assign the user the
Tenant Adminrole in the default tenant. Users with this role can manage tenants, configure SSO, and administer users across all tenants. Reserve this role for users who need system-wide administration access. -
Tenant Admin is scoped to a tenant. Users with this role can manage users within their assigned tenant, but cannot manage global platform settings or grant Platform Admin access.
-
Editor is scoped to a tenant. Users with this role can work with tenant resources but do not have tenant administration privileges.
-
Viewer is scoped to a tenant. Users with this role have read-only access within the tenant.
Manage Users
-
Sign in as a Platform Admin or Tenant Admin.
-
Go to Settings > Tenants > Users.
-
The Users tab lists each user's name, email, roles, assigned tenants, and whether the account is local. Add or delete users from the Actions menu.
-
Click Save.
Role Assignment Rules
Only Platform Admins can grant or manage Platform Admin access. Tenant Admin, Editor, and Viewer are tenant-scoped roles that apply within the assigned tenant and do not grant global access.
Active Tenant Context
The active tenant determines which data and administration options are available to a tenant-scoped user.
