The Reference Configuration Package contains the baseline recommended configurations for AI Factory anomaly objects, Trends views, and dashboards. If you did not receive the Reference Configuration Package, contact your NVIDIA representative.
The anomaly configuration file is located in the package at:
minerva-configs/anomaly-config/anomaly-detection.json
Enable Anomaly Objects
A new NVIDIA Minerva installation runs with every anomaly object disabled. The anomaly-detection.json file in the Reference Configuration Package turns on some detectors. Before you copy it, check the enable setting of each object. To enable specific objects:
-
Copy
anomaly-detection.jsonto the manager node at~/opt/minerva/etc. -
Open
anomaly-detection.jsonin an editor. -
Locate the anomaly object you want to enable (for example,
anomalyRareSyslogPerAppSev). -
Set the
enablefield totrue:JSON"enable": true -
Repeat steps 3–4 for each additional object you want to enable.
-
Save the file.
No service restart is required — changes are picked up automatically. Depending on data volume and object type, it may take up to 72 hours before anomalies appear.
For details on anomaly detection behavior, see Anomalies.
