Derived measures are computed metrics that NVIDIA Minerva calculates by applying formulas to raw telemetry data. They extend the base telemetry fields — such as byte counts, error counters, and operational state values — with higher-level calculations like utilization percentages, loss ratios, and link-down indicators.
The Reference Configuration Package includes the derived measures used by the preconfigured dashboards and auto-correlation feed views. Import the derived measures before importing any dashboards or auto-correlation feed views. Dashboard views and auto-correlation feeds that reference a derived measure will not display data correctly if the measure is not present.
The import is safe to run more than once; it updates any existing derived measure that has a matching name.
If you don't have the Reference Configuration Package, contact your NVIDIA sales representative.
